Hightech Summit 2022: Focus Session “Digital Care – Opportunities and Potentials”
In the focus sessions of the Hightech Summit 2022, we devote ourselves to selected, current topics that affect the Baden-Württemberg economy. In the focus session “Digital Care – Opportunities and Potentials”, we turn our gaze, together with experts, to the red-hot challenges of digitalization in care. The event will be trinational (DE, FR, CH).
Care is representative for the entire non-medical care process of people in need of care involving formal and informal helpers – a huge societal task that poses great challenges to hospitals, inpatient long-term care and home care. Can digitization help nursing care become more efficient or streamline work processes and become more customer-centric?
Using numerous practical examples, we show how care innovations are being used in hospital practice. Innovative start-ups will present their solutions for home care and discuss opportunities, challenges and approaches with users and experts. The topic of participatory product development will also be addressed. This will also include some examples of existing innovation infrastructures and pilot projects in the care sector.
