About this Event

The main objective of the CIRCULAR4.0 project is to strengthen digitalisation processes by SMEs to foster innovation processes and accelerate the transition to the circular economy in Alpine Space.

Within the project three transnational working groups, consisting of project partners and valuable experts on Circular Economy, Digitalization and Innovation for SMEs, were founded. The working groups focus on different business models along different stages of the value hill: circular design, optimal use and value recovery business models. Each group invites best practices and experts to share their knowledge and experience around these „areas“ of Circular Economy. This first event focuses on optimal use and how it can be supported by digital technologies.

We look forward to the following speakers:

Emily Barnes, Siemens: Digitalization and Optimal Use Business Models

Ladeja Godina Košir, Director of the Circular Change platform: Awareness raising of Circular Economy (including optimal use) through Circular Change platform

Dr. Jan Christoph von der Lancken, EPEA GmbH – Part of Drees & Sommers: Circular economy powered by cradle to cradle® – Innovative design for industry and building products
